Our privilege and a responsibility
Geolat believes that our role as a corporate citizen is both a privilege and a responsibility. Our community’s well-being is a priority for us, and for over 30 years we have dedicated our time and our resources to support charitable causes that are important to us and to the citizens of our community.
We not only provide financial support, but we also participate in leadership roles on the boards of local and national charities. Among the charities that we support are:
Something for Kelly Foundation
Eating disorders in America are so prevalent that thousands of teenagers fall into harmful and often dangerous eating patterns every day. Some studies indicate that up to one half of all teenage girls and one third of all teenage boys try to manage their body image in unhealthy ways. Although most often manifested in teenagers, eating disorders often take root much earlier –between the ages of 6 and 12.
