The Something for Kelly Foundation Charity Gala

The Something for Kelly Foundation is very dear to our hearts. Established by Geolat founder, Patti Geolat, the Something for Kelly Foundation exists to help children, aged 6-12, overcome their predisposition to eating disorders.

The foundation started in memory of Patti’s niece, Kelly, who passed away in 2009 due to complications caused by her eating disorder. With over 80% of 10-year-old girls afraid of being fat, the foundation serves a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing of our children.

The Something for Kelly Foundation Charity Gala will be held on February 28th in Belleville, IL.  Not only is this the first of what will become an annual gala, the venue, Bellecourt Banquet Center, is also where Kelly had her wedding. We cannot imagine a better way to honor such a special day in her life than with our first big foundation event.

We invite everyone to attend the gala. In addition to being an enjoyable night that honors Kelly’s memory, there will be a number of great prizes available in our raffle! There are opportunties to win jewelry, pizza parties, four VIP to tickets to a Cher concert, and many more valuable prizes.  All net proceeds from ticket sales will also go toward the foundation’s many helpful programs.

If you cannot attend, please consider leaving a donation. We so appreciate your support in these early stages of our foundation, and we hope to make a big impact in the lives of children nationwide.
